Our Story
Forty two years on one corner of Coverdale Road
Wayne Springer finished his barbering course at NBCC at seventeen years old. That was 1974. He apprenticed at a shop in the Riverview Mall, came over to King's Krown not long after, became a partner, and eventually took the whole thing on himself.
Forty nine years later he is still in on Tuesdays.
His daughter Tracy has been cutting alongside him for more than twenty years and is carrying the shop forward, now with a full team of barbers working the chairs. Between them they have cut hair for grandfathers, for their sons, and for their sons after that. Same corner. Same idea of what a haircut should cost you in time and fuss, which is very little.
You don't need an appointment with us. It's always been that way.
